2019 BMW R1250RS Review

  • by

The BMW R1250RS includes all the specs of its predecessors including shaft drive, spacious driving position, and adjustable screen. It adds a tangible boost in refinement, modernity, and power.

The unique design makes it a premier sports tourer. The dash is quicker and clearer to read. The headlights offer a less-startled appearance with an enlarged motor to serve in those long rides. The engine has a toothed chain for twin-jet injection valves, optimized oil supply and comes with a new exhaust system.

The engine capacity stands at 100kW and 143Nm torque, boosting acceleration to the cruising speed. The BMW ShiftCam technology offers impressive elasticity and more torque in the overall speed range.

The motorcycle features two riding modes: hill-start control and automatic stability. The set-off assistant Hill Start Control enables convenient set-off on slopes. The standard automatic stability control ASC guarantee a high level of riding safety by offering the best traction possible. It also has a LED headlamp as standard with a LED daytime riding light as an optional equipment item.

BMW R1250RS has a high-quality stardust metallic paint finish with metallic effect, giving it an exclusive touch. The biggest issue lies in the price because it’s quite expensive.
